BURY ST EDMUNDS

Natural planting sets off bold landscaping
THE BRIEF

The clients wanted shady areas and sculptural features in their garden. We were also asked to screen the existing oil tank and shed and to provide hard surface paths.

WHAT WE DID

We chose an attractive brickwork for the paths, contrasting with sandstone terraces. Introducing luxuriant vegetation to the garden brings a pleasant surrounding to the dining area and the lawn. Colourful but not garish, natural but not too wild, this planting is well-balanced and offers poetic views from the kitchen and the living room. Grasses dance with the wind whereas flowers attract butterflies. Harmony definitely defines this garden!
